Welcome aboard the Josie Lyn!
 The Josie Lyn is a 29 foot C-Hawk built in Baily, North Carolina. Carolina boats are known for their ability to comfortably handle all types of sea conditions, and the Josie Lyn is no exception. The fishing deck has an enormous amount of room and will comfortably accommodate up to six passengers.
She is equipped with twin Honda 225 HP outboards which makes her fast and quiet. The heated cabin can keep you out of the weather if you like, and there is covered seating on the fishing deck for all.
The boat is equipped with top of the line fishing electronics- Furuno and Garmin Color fish finders, Nobeltec chart plotter and Garmin GPS help me find the fish and stay on top of them.
All fishing equipment is provided and includes Shimano, Lamiglass and G. Loomis rods with Shimano and Penn reels. For Halibut fishing I use Newell Graphite reels which are very light weight and powerful. My downriggers are Scotty Electrics.
The Josie Lyn is equipped with your safety and comfort in mind. Full rain gear is provided for all. The seats on the fishing deck is covered to keep you out of any rain. A fully enclosed marine toilet is in the bow. Soft drinks, bottled water, hot coffee and snacks are included with your charter.
All required Coast Guard Safety equipment is on board and up to date. Prior to starting the season the boat undergoes a voluntary Coast Guard inspection. As required by the Coast Guard I hold current Red Cross First Aid and CPR training.
